The Optimistic Child: Fostering Optimism & Resilience
in Your Child
Based on the book, The Optimistic Child, by Martin P. Seligman,
Ph.D., this workshops shows you how to teach your children the skills of
optimism, helping them to achieve more both at school and in life. Learn
about the fundamentals of optimism & pessimism, how to measure your
child's level of optimism, and strategies to boost your child's ability
to combat depression and come back from failure. Participants also receive
a copy of Dr. Seligman's book, The Optimistic Child, to take with
them—a $20 value. (Note: One book per registered individual or couple.)

- All workshops run 90 minutes in length and begin at 7:30 p.m. sharp
- Cost is $45 for individuals or $75 per couple (Discounts available for qualifying families)

After-School "Success Club" Program (for
Youth in Grades 4-8)
How much more successful could your son or daughter be this year with
weekly access to a Professional Academic Success Coach? Here are just
some of the key areas covered / supported:

- Study & test preparation skills

Structured in 9-12-week blocks, students can sign up for weekly support for one term, two terms, or the entire year! The "Success Club" Program is offered both as an after-school program (up to 15 students in a group) or a private 1-on-1 coaching format.
This is an excellent investment in your son's or daughter's academic success and happiness ... both for this year AND for years to come. The strategies taught and insights gained are highly transferable—perfect for today and personal and professional lives to come.
After-school "Success Club" membership includes:
- Weekly after-school club meetings (10-12 per term)
- Time: After school for one hour (times & day of the week vary by school)
- Location: In your child's school
- Cost: $120 (Discounts available for qualifying youth / families / schools)
